Parsnip is an AI-powered cooking app that teaches you to make incredible food and track your skills as you progress through fun, delicious learning paths.

With the Definery team, I designed a brand that reflected the scrappy, homemade, and friendly vibe that Parsnip’s creators sought to bring to their users.

Taking inspiration from Japanese culture and handwritten cookbooks, I brought their brand to life with a comical mascot, Snippy the Parsnip- a funny little veggie with lots of personality. The brand uses naturally-occurring greens, yellows, and neutrals to ground it in realistic and recognizable colors.
